Dr. Fisher‘s love of animals began at a very young age and it drove her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She grew up in Pasadena and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Pre-Vet. She then attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences and graduated in 2011. During vet school, she had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua with the World Vets organization where she participated in providing much needed veterinary care to the large stray animal community including cats, dogs, monkeys and goats. This experience sparked an interest in travel as well as providing veterinary service in rural areas. After graduating from vet school, Dr. Fisher worked in the San Gabriel Valley in private practice and at the San Gabriel Humane Society. Dr. Fisher and her family relocated to the Upland area in 2020 and she looks forward to serving the community and providing excellent veterinary care to the patients at PetTime Animal Hospital.
